Twelve-year-old Kassidy is the daughter of beloved Quiethouse beta reader and indie author Marie Krepps (also writing as Ashley Uzzell). Their family had a rough October, but the last straw was finding out Kassidy has non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Obviously, it was heartbreaking news.
